We celebrate the ultimate symbol of ruggedness on World Beard Day on the first Saturday in September. Times are changing, but the beard has been more than just a fashion statement — it has been considered a sign of manliness since prehistoric times. The beard represents virtues such as strength, wisdom, and even social status in some cultures. There is something about a beard that demands admiration and respect thus, deserves a day of celebration.

Our contest will begin on Tuesday August 1st and continue until Friday, September 1st. Participants need to post a photo of their beards on either Facebook, Tik Tok or Instagram with the hashtag #hippiebeardcontest23 and TAG The Healthy Hippie Cafe. Daily posts are encouraged but not required. 

Categories include; 

LONGEST, BEST BRAIDS, LUMBERJACK, STYLIN, STASH & BEARD COMBO.

Prizes are:

1st- $50 Cash (or Venmo) & Winning Title

2nd- $25 Gift Card

3rd- A Razor Gift Set!

Rules;

1. You do not need to be local

2. You MUST enter the contest by posting and tagging us on either Facebook, Tik Tok or Instagram

3. Your beard must be identified as your own with social media email verification.

4. No nudity, or vulgar verbiage in posts.
