Emotional First Aid uses evidence based practices to manage stress and trauma. In this workshop we will learn the impact of stress and trauma, simple tools to manage stress and trauma, and ways to empower you and spread healing with emotional first aid skills. These skills include awareness, breath work, tapping touch and movement.
Emily Tuck is an alternative health and wellness practitioner, peer support advocate and Mindful Living Coach. She is the Community Manager of Even One Less, a non profit organization that focuses on suicide prevention through promoting healthy spiritual, mental, emotional and physical lifestyles. She has 10 years lived experience in alternative mental health practices, and in recovery from Bi Polar 1 Disorder and Post Traumatic Stress.
Through Even One Less, Inc., Emily facilitates Emotional First Aid workshops for free to individuals and organizations, and advocates for skilled helping professionals to learn energy psychology and collaborate with faith based programs for healing.
